KIEV, Nov. 10 - Ukraine must cooperate with both Russia and the European Union, for ensuring safe and secure long-term supplies of natural gas in the region, Prime Minister Mykola Azarov said Wednesday.

The comment shows Ukraine has been resisting Russia’s pressure of acquiring or otherwise getting control over Ukrainian natural gas pipelines as a measure of improving energy security.
