Ukraine may let Germans use Crimean facility to protect satellites

KIEV, Oct. 22 - Ukraine and Germany are continuing talks on possible cooperation in the use of the Ukrainian System of Control and Analysis of Space (SKAKO), operating Ukrainian radars in Sevastopol (Crimea) and Mukacheve, by the German Aerospace Center (DLR), an informed source in the sector told Interfax-Ukraine.

The partners at the next stage of talks held in Crimea discussed the possibility of using SKAKO to ensure the safety of German satellites.
