KIEV, Jan. 13 – The planned toughening of requirements on banks' capital could be an obstacle in the way of creating a free-trade zone between Ukraine and the European Union, according to the Association of Ukrainian Banks (AUB).

KIEV, Jan. 14 – The National Energy Regulatory Commission (NERC) is to increase the tariffs for households that consume over 150 kWh of electricity per month by 30% starting February 1.

The tariffs for households with electric stoves or using electricity for heating would increase by 30% if they consume over 250 kWh per month.
