KIEV, July 14 – Ukraine on Wednesday increased daily imports of natural gas from European countries to 2.1 million cubic meters, Ukrtransgaz spokesman Maksym Beliavsky wrote on his Facebook page.


Official: Power exports to Moldova and Belarus may resume in October

KIEV, July 15 – Energy and Coal Industry Minister Ihor Nasalyk forecasts that electricity exports from Ukraine to Moldova and Belarus may resume in October.

"Late in September or early in October, we'll resume electricity exports to Belarus and Moldova," he said on NewsOne.


Energy ministry to create commend post to ensure grid operation

KIEV, July 15 – The Ukrainian Energy and Coal Ministry assures it will maintain Ukraine's power grids without power cuts amid electricity consumption peaks due to the heat, but says it is necessary to create an anti-crisis headquarters to ease decision-making, Minister Ihor Nasalyk said.
