Fitch assigns RR4 recovery rating to Naftogaz participation notes

Moscow, Sept. 15 - Fitch Ratings has assigned Naftogaz of Ukraine's $500 million 8.125% loan participation note due 2009 a 'RR4' Recovery Rating, the agency announced.

Russian gas transit via Ukraine remains at maximum possible level

KYIV, Aug 15 – Transit of Russian gas through Ukraine remains at the technically maximum possible level.

"Gazprom supplies Russian gas for transit through the territory of Ukraine in the volume confirmed by the Ukrainian side through the Sudzha gas metering station (GIS) – 42.4 million cubic meters as of August 15. The application for the GIS Sokhranivka was rejected," Gazprom reported.
