Ukraine harvests grain and leguminous crops on 11.2 million hectares

KIEV, Sept. 16 – Ukraine as of September 16 had threshed grain and leguminous crops on 11.2 million hectares, harvesting 34.06 million tons of grain.


Iron ore pellet producers report mixed results so far this year

KIEV, Sept. 16 - Ukrainian iron ore pellet producers had mixed results in January-August.

The London-listed Ferrexpo plc, which controls Ukraine's Poltava Mining, raised commercial pellet output 11.5% year-on-year to 7.077 million tons and iron ore concentrate production 11.8% to 8.63 million tons, an industry source told Interfax-Ukraine.


Ukrainian auto trade group forecasts 32% decline in production

KIEV, Sept. 17 – Ukrainian automobile manufacturers this year are forecast to produce around 52,000-55,000 vehicles, which is 32-38% down on 2012 (76,200 vehicles), said Mykhailo Reznik head of the Ukrautoprom Association.
