Ukrainian steel firms ask for reducing U.S. import duties
KYIV, Aug 18 – The Ukrmetalurgprom Association of Enterprises has appealed to President Volodymyr Zelensky with a request to raise during a meeting with U.S. President Joe Biden at the end of August the issue of replacing the 25% duty on metal products for deliveries to this country with duty-free quotas.

Ukraine may lose $15-mln/year in confectionary exports to Turkey
KYIV, Aug 17 - Ukraine, against the background of the introduction by Turkey of an additional duty on imports of confectionery products in the amount of 15% to 20%, may stop exporting confectionery products to this country and lose $15 million a year from this, head of the Ukrkondprom association Oleksandr Baldyniuk said.

Ukraine seeks to limit wheat exports at 17.5-mln mt in 2020/2021
KYIV, Aug 17 - The Ministry of Economic Development, Trade and Agriculture signed an annex to the grain memorandum with grain market participants and agreed on the maximum grain export volume in the 2020/2021 marketing year (MY, July-June) at the level of 17.5 million tons of wheat and 1,000 tons of rye.
