Russian pipe trade group speaks out against bilateral agreement
MOSCOW, Nov. 18 – The Russian Pipe Industry Development Foundation has said that it is inexpedient to prolong an agreement signed between the Russian Ministry for Economic Development and Trade and the Ukrainian Economy Ministry on settlement of supplies of some types of steel pipes from Ukraine to Russia. |
Ukraine’s GDP rose 2.9% over prior quarter in third quarter
KIEV, Nov. 18 – Ukraine's GDP showed a 2.9% rise in Q3 against Q2, according the Economy Ministry said on Tuesday.
According to the ministry, in Q2, 2009 the growth was higher from Q1, 2009 – 3.9%, while in Q1, 2009 the fall of 13.3% was registered from the previous quarter.

More Ukrainians reluctant to buy durable goods, survey shows

Russia’s TVEL pitching services as alternative nuke fuel for Ukraine
ELEKTROSTAL, Nov. 17 - The Russian atomic corporation TVEL is ready to cooperate with Ukraine in the establishment of an alternative supplier of fuel to nuclear power plants running Russian made water-cooled water-moderated VVER units, TVEL head Yuri Olenin told the media. |
