ZAZ reports 46.8% increase in passenger car output through Nov. 30

KIEV, Dec. 18 - Zaporizhia car plant, also known as ZAZ, Ukraine's largest passenger car manufacturer, boosted output by 46.8% from January to November, year-over-year, to 252,652 cars.

Over the 11 months, the company manufactured 1,046 Tavria cars (7.4 times down year-over-year), 3,614 Tavria-Pickup cars (0.5% up), 14,596 Slavuta cars (13% down), and 21,135 Daewoo Sens cars (9.4% up).


Ukraine bans poultry imports from all of Poland following outbreak

KIEV, Dec. 18 – Responding to a reported avian flu outbreak, Ukraine has banned the import of poultry from the whole territory of Poland, Ukraine's State Veterinary Medicine Department reported.


IMF office calls for reform, stability in fiscal, monetary policies
