Ukraine wants EU to remove agriculture export quotas on its products
KYIV, April 20 – The abolition of quotas for the export of agricultural products from Ukraine to the countries of the European Union or the revision of their rates upwards may become the most important support for the Ukrainian agro-industrial complex in the context of the military aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine.

BlaBlaCar buys Ukrainian bus management company Octobus
KYIV, April 21 – The world's largest road travel marketplace BlaBlaCar has bought the Ukrainian automated bus passenger transport management company Octobus.
According to a BlaBlaCar, Octobus is a cloud-based platform that enables bus carriers to automate their business processes, from sales and marketing to analytics, accounting and fleet management.

Morgan Stanley tells investors to buy Ukraine’s Value Recovery Instruments
KYIV, April 21 – Morgan Stanley advised investors to buy the dip in Ukraine’s Value Recovery Instruments (VRI), suggesting its fair value is much higher, the bank said in a report. VRIs are currently trading at 102.4, but its fair value is 145, Morgan Stanley said in the report, according to Interfax-Ukraine.

Ukraine has enough nuclear fuel to run power plants for 18 months
KYIV, April 17 – Stocks of fresh nuclear fuel formed at the National Nuclear Generating Company Energoatom allow all 15 power units of the NPP to work for approximately one and a half years, but the non-payment crisis is a real threat to the delay in fresh nuclear fuel supplies and the removal of spent nuclear fuel in 2020, the company said. |
Slovakia offers gas transit discount helping Ukraine fill storage facilities
KYIV, April 17 – The gas transmission system operator of Slovakia, Eustream, is ready to provide a tariff discount of up to 40% for daily transmission capacities booked at the entry/exit points, creating an attractive opportunity to store gas in Ukrainian underground gas storage (UGS) facilities, Head of the Ukrainian gas transmission system operator (GTSOU) Serhiy Makogon has said. |
