GAFTA complains to WTO and EU about Customs Service grain obstacles

Farmers’ group protests introduction of grain export quotas

Rivneazot says government pressure to blame for idle facility
KIEV, Aug. 20 – Persistent political pressure from the government of Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko is causing Rivneazot to stay idle for the fourth consecutive month and does not allow resuming production of mineral fertilizers, reads a company report.
"Tymoshenko in the period when she has been prime minister only created problems for Rivneazot and its workers," reads the report.
