KYIV, June 23 – The administration of an enterprise with foreign investments Zaporizhia Iron Ore Plant (ZZRK, Dniprorudne, Zaporizhia region) announced the loss of control over the enterprise in the temporarily uncontrolled territory of Ukraine and announced an extraordinary meeting of shareholders.

Ukraine’s power plants cut 5.5% consumption of coal in Jan-Apr

KYIV, June 25 – Ukraine's thermal power plants (TPP) and combined heat and power plants (CHPP) in January-April 2019 reduced coal consumption by 5.5% (or 516,500 tons) compared to the same period in 2018, to 8.856 million tons.


Ukraine increases natural gas stocks 48.7% to 13.2 Bcm through June 22

KYIV, June 25 – Ukraine from April 4 through June 22, 2019 increased natural gas stocks in its underground gas storage (UGS) facilities by 48.7% or 4.256 billion cubic meters (bcm), to 13.2 bcm, according to recent update from JSC Ukrtransgaz.


Ukrenergo warns about power blackouts on record high air temperatures

KYIV, June 25 – National Energy Company Ukrenergo has issued a warning about possible blackouts due to record-high air temperature.

"The energy system is facing a hazard to balanced electricity generation and consumption. A record-high air temperature and a peak power consumption of 17,935 megawatts have been registered in Ukraine in recent two weeks.

Foreign investors may triple investments in Ukraine, presidential aide says
