Strong April numbers bring Ukraine payments balance to zero, says NBU

Russia’s RusAl to appeal court ruling canceling ZAlK purchase
KIEV, May 26 – The RusAl company (Russia) will challenge in the Higher Economic Court of Ukraine a verdict of Kiev Economic Court of Appeals, which upheld a ruling of the court of lower instance on the cancellation of an agreement on the sale and purchase of a 68.015 stake in opened joint-stock company Zaporizhia Aluminum Smelter (ZAlK) and the return of the stake to the state.

Ukraine and US scheduling SS-24 fuel disposal work at Pavlohrad
KIEV, May 28 – Ukraine and the United States are working out a schedule of work at a joint facility being built at the Pavlohrad Chemical Plant in Dnipropetrovsk region as part of the program to dispose of solid rocket fuel from SS-24 intercontinental ballistic missiles. |
