Foreign Minister Pavlo Klimkin and the United States' Secretary of Energy Rick Perry, who met in Kyiv on Monday, have signed a joint declaration of intention to extend by five years an intergovernmental agreement on increasing the operational safety, reducing the operational risk, and strengthening the systems regulating civilian nuclear facilities in Ukraine.
