President says he may impose martial law if eastern situation worsens Journal Staff Report
If the situation in eastern Ukraine and in Crimea deteriorates, martial law may be imposed and mobilization will be announced, President Petro Poroshenko said. "In the event of the exacerbation of the situation in the east and in Crimea [...] we will have to impose martial law and order mobilization," Poroshenko said in Lviv region on Thursday.
