New police patrol force to start working in Odessa this week Journal Staff Report
The new police patrol force will start working in Odessa on August 25, the press service of Main Department of Interior Ministry of Ukraine in Odessa region has reported. The Interior Ministry has provided 40 cars for the new force. According to the report, the new force aims at having 800 officers on the beat, however as of August 1 less than 500 cadets have enrolled. American instructors are helping to train the new policemen in Odessa.
