Real earnings of Ukrainians fell 23.5% in Q1, government reports Journal Staff Report
The real earnings of Ukrainians, taking into account price factors, in January-March 2015 fell by 23.5% year-on-year, the State Statistics Service reported. The nominal earnings of the public in the period grew by 6.2% year-over-year, while disposable income in the same period rose by 4.2%. Nominal disposable income per capita amounted to UAH 6,297.60, which was UAH 276.40 more year-over-year. Public expenses in the period under review rose by 12.4% year-over-year. Growth of savings totaled UAH 2.104 billion.
