Ukraine GDP may fall 4.5% next year, finance ministry forecasts Journal Staff Report
Ukraine's GDP may decline by 4.5% in 2015 amid 13.4% inflation, Deputy Finance Minister Denys Fudashkin said. The Finance Ministry also forecast the consolidated budget deficit at 3.8%. "According to the low-case scenario, which we suggest to take as a basis, next year GDP is expected to decline by 4.5, inflation is expected at 13.4%, while the base-case scenario features a 2.4% decline in GDP and an 11.5% inflation," Fudashkin said.
