Ukrainian electricity exports reported down 6.4% through September Journal Staff Report
Ukraine cut electricity exports by 6.4% year-on-year in January-September to 6.983 billion kilowatt-hours, the Energy and Coal Industry Ministry reported. Exports of electricity to Hungary, Slovakia, Romania and Poland as a whole fell 0.6% to 3.954 billion kWh. Belarus imported 2.401 billion kWh of Ukrainian electricity in January-September, 6.3% more year-on-year. Moldova imported 628.1 million kWh of Ukrainian electricity, down 47.4%. Ukrainian electricity exports fell 26.8% year-on-year in September to 564.3 million kWh.
