Naftogaz Ukrayiny is studying the prospects for gas production from coal seams in Lviv region, head of the company Oleksiy Chernyshov said on Facebook. According to him, in the future, this area of work will allow increasing gas production, making coal mining safer and strengthening the energy independence of Ukraine. In addition, it will help reduce the emission of harmful gases in accordance with EU directives.
