Naftogaz terminates offer to place 2022, 2024 eurobonds issue delayed Journal Staff Report
Naftogaz Ukrayiny has terminated its offers to buy out eurobonds maturing in 2022 and 2024, following the decision to postpone the issue of new eurobonds, the funds from which were planned to be used for buyout. According to the report of Kondor Finance Plc, through which the eurobonds were issued, on the Irish Stock Exchange, the placement of new eurobonds was one of the conditions for buyout. Now 2022 eurobonds with a nominal value of $335 million with a coupon of 7.375% and 2024 eurobonds with a nominal value of EUR 600 million with a coupon of 7.125% are in circulation. Naftogaz planned, first of all, to buy out 2022 eurobonds.
