Kyivstar, Japan’s Sojitz, PicoCELA sign memo to develop wireless mesh tech

KYIV, Feb 22 – The largest Ukrainian telecom operator Kyivstar signed a trilateral memorandum with Japanese companies Sojitz and PicoCELA, which will help identify options for cooperation between the companies on a number of projects, including the development of wireless mesh technology, the company's press service reported on Thursday.

New Zealand announces provision of $15.9-mln military aid to Ukraine

KYIV, Feb 22 – New Zealand announced the provision of new aid of NZD 25.9 million ($15.9 million) to Ukraine.

"This support, worth $25.9 million [NZD], will bring the total value of New Zealand's assistance pledged in the past two years to more than $100 million [NZD]," Foreign Minister Winston Peters and Defence Minister Judith Collins said in a statement published on the New Zealand government website.

Denmark announces $250-mln assistance package to Ukraine within months

KYIV, Feb 22 – The Danish government has announced a new package of military assistance to Ukraine in the amount of DKK 1.7 billion (or almost $250 million), which provides, in particular, for the supply of 15,000 artillery ammunition to Ukraine within a few months, the Danish Ministry of Defense reports.

Ukraine may soon get IMF’s $900-mln payment from $15.6-bln loan

Ukrainians overwhelmingly believe Ukraine will defeat Russia, poll shows

KYIV, Feb 21 – The majority of Ukrainians, 85%, believe in Ukraine's victory in the war with the Russian Federation (from 78% of residents of the East of the country to 88.5% of residents of the Western region). 8.5% do not believe in victory (from 5.5% in the West to 13% in the East of the country), according to the results of a survey conducted by the sociological service of the Razumkov Center and presented at a press conference at Interfax-Ukraine.
