KIEV, Dec. 8 – The growth of Ukraine's GDP will continue improving in the fourth quarter of 2009, according to Ihor Shumylo, acting director for economic issues at the National Bank of Ukraine.
"We'll see [GDP] growth [in Q4, 2009 compared to Q3, 2009]. We expect that it will be at least 2%... This is equal to the indicator of the third quarter. As a whole, in 2009 there will be a 14% fall," Shumyko told the press on Monday.
Commenting on inflation, he said that in December 2009 it will be less than in December 2008.
