KIEV, Dec. 1 - The National Electricity Regulatory Commission has extended a moratorium on a rise in retail tariffs of electricity for mining, metals and chemical companies until January 2010.

The retail tariffs on electricity for mining, metals and chemical companies will remain at the level of October 2008, despite the rise in retail tariffs in November and December approved by the commission.
