KIEV, Nov. 24 - Ukraine will seek to modernize and integrate its natural gas pipelines into European gas supply system to improve the energy security on the continent, President Viktor Yushchenko said.

Yushchneko, who seeks reelection for a second five-year term in office in January 2010, made the commitment in his election program submitted to the Central Election Commission on Monday.
