KIEV, Nov. 20 – President Viktor Yushchenko has called on political forces to unite to meet commitments to the International Monetary Fund.
"The president is calling on all political forces to unite to completely fulfil [Ukraine's] commitments to the IMF," Presidential Secretariat First Deputy chief Oleksandr Shlapak said at a meeting between the head of state and the G7 ambassadors.
He said that the fulfilment of these commitments is not just a duty, "without them the development of Ukraine's gas sector and economy is impossible."
