KIEV, July 9 – Ukraine is in talks with Japanese and Turkish companies over construction of $800 million liquefied natural gas terminal that may greatly reduce dependence on Russian gas imports, the Energy and Fuel Ministry reported.

Mitsubishi Group of Japan and Calik Group of Turkey may invest their own money to build the terminal that would be able to handle imports of 10 billion cubic meters of gas annually.
