KIEV, Feb. 10 – The reported launch of a Iran’s first space satellite earlier this month received worldwide media attention.
But a group of Ukraine’s leading outer space scientists now say they doubt the launch ever happened.
At a press conference held on Tuesday, representatives of the Ukrainian space sector said they doubted the reliability of reports of the launch of Iran's first space satellite Omid, which was performed, according to Iranian media, on Feb. 2 with a Safir-2 launcher vehicle.
