KIEV, Jan. 13 - Russian gas giant Gazprom’s plan to test run Ukrainian pipelines before restarting supplies to the European Union was “absolutely provocative,” a top aide to President Viktor Yushchenko said Tuesday.
Bohdan Sokolovskiy, Yushchenko’s energy security envoy, said Gazprom’s plan of moving a small amount of gas was designed to make the Ukrainian pipeline system fail.
