KIEV, March 20 - Ukraine's gross foreign debt for 2007 increased to 60.2% of GDP from 50.6% in 2006, the National Bank of Ukraine said in a statement on its website.
"Ukraine's gross foreign debt as of Jan, 1, 2008, came to $84.5 billion, or 60.2% of GDP, which is an increase of $30 billion or 55% of GDP," the statement said. The National Bank added that Ukraine's gross foreign debt increased 37.6% to $54.5 billion.
