BRUSSELS, March 12 – Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko supports the efficient use of minerals through the licensing of effective investors selected by tenders who agree to adhere to state conditions.

Speaking in Brussels at the Ukraine-European Union conference, Tymoshenko said that Ukraine is rich in oil, gas and other minerals deposits.

She said that at present, there are two factors hindering Ukraine's strengthening its energy security.
