KIEV, March 10 – Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko suggested Monday that President Viktor Yushchenko’s plan for re-writing the country’s constitution would probably fail, adding that lawmakers would rather focus on eliminating the role of the president.
Tymoshenko’s comments, made at an EU-Ukraine conference in Brussels, are her first public disagreement with Yushchenko over the future role of the president.
