KIEV, Feb. 14 – The Transport and Communications Ministry of Ukraine plans to raise an additional UAH3.5 billion for the reconstruction and construction of roads under preparations for the European Football Championship in 2012, the ministry reported, citing Deputy Transport and Communications Minister Vadym Hurzhos.

The ministry plans to initiate changes in the law on the national budget, which foresees state guarantees under credits worth UAH800 million being raised by the State Road Service (Ukravtodor).
