KIEV, Dec. 19 – ChornomorNaftoGaz, Ukraine’s third-largest oil and gas company, reported Wednesday that recent test drilling had proved that its Subbotin offshore oil field contains at least 100 million metric tons of crude oil.

The field, located offshore the Black Sea near Kerch, is expected to help ChornomorNaftogaz to boost its oil output by at least 1 million metric tons/year starting from 2008 when the field is planned to be put in operation.
