KIEV, Dec. 11 – Ukraine’s security service, SBU, dispatched a special team to check Parliament’s voting system Tuesday after lawmakers complained it may had been tampered with to prevent approval of Yulia Tymoshenko as the new prime minister.
The system, known as Rada, showed that only 225 lawmakers out of 227 commanded by the pro-Western coalition, had voted to support Tymoshenko’s nomination, one less that is required for the approval.
