KIEV, Nov. 14 – Deadlock continued for the third straight day in Parliament Wednesday as parties failed to reach a compromise over who must be approved as an interim chairman.

President Viktor Yushchenko’s Our Ukraine-People’s Self-defense, as a compromise, suggested that Prime Minister Viktor Yanukovych’s Regions Party nominate one of its lawmakers to the post.
