KIEV, Nov. 1 – Ukraine is studying the likely impact of Russia’s recent surprise move to quit an important agreement outlining cooperation between the two countries in crude oil shipments to Europe, an official said Thursday.

Oleksandr Chaliy, deputy chief of staff at the office of President Viktor Yushchenko, said the office, jointly with the Foreign Ministry, will probably soon announce Ukraine’s reaction.
