KIEV, Oct. 16 – Ukraine’s consumer prices, in contrast to most of forecasts, will not rise more than 10% in 2007 despite some major recent hikes in food prices, Finance Minister Mykola Azarov said Tuesday.

“We are convinced that the situation will be stable,” Azarov said at a press conference. “We will not breach the double digit figure for the year.”
