KIEV, Sept. 13 - Ukraine and Turkmenistan, the country’s main source of gas, reached a preliminary agreement over keeping natural gas prices unchanged at $100/1,000 cubic meters in 2008, Energy and Fuel Minister Yuriy Boyko said Thursday.
Ukraine is now holding talks with Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan, which jointly supply the remaining 27% of the country’s gas imports, to try to keep their prices unchanged too, Boyko said.
