KIEV, Sept. 11 – The World Bank is ready to cooperate with Ukraine in the construction of the infrastructure for the EURO-2012 soccer games, provided that Kiev amends the law on state purchase and raises the efficiency of using grants and loans from international organizations, Martin Raiser, an expert with the bank, said Tuesday, according to Deutsche Welle.
According to the director of the Institute for Economic Research and Political Consultations, Ihor Burakovsky, the World Bank's requirements to Ukraine's investment sector are fully grounded.
