KIEV, Aug. 11 – Volodymyr Stelmakh, the governor of the National Bank of Ukraine, may be replaced with Petro Poroshenko, an ally of President Viktor Yushchenko, following the Sept. 30 snap election, industry analysts said.
The speculation of the likely reshuffle at the central bank intensified earlier this month after Stelmakh joined the list of candidates from Our Ukraine, Yushchenko’s party, running for the election.
