NEW YORK, August 6 – Arcelor Mittal USA agreed on sale of its Sparrow Point steel plant to a joint venture, which includes Esmark Incorporated, Wheeling Pittsburgh Corporation, along with Cia. Vale do Rio Doce (Brazil) and Industrial Union of Donbas (Ukraine), Bloomerg reported.

Last week, Arcelor Mittal announced the sale of the plant to Esmark. Later, Cia. Vale do Rio Doce, world's major iron ore producer, announced that it is also a partner of Esmark, together with Ukraine's IUD, and will pay $270 million for a minor stake in Sparrow Point.
