KIEV, May 30 - President Viktor Yushchenko accused "certain forces" on Wednesday of seeking to derail a September 30 poll called after weeks of talks between government rivals to try and halt a protracted political crisis.

The pro-Western president has been at odds for months with Moscow-leaning Prime Minister Viktor Yanukovych, his rival from the 2004 "Orange Revolution", over who runs the ex-Soviet state.
