WASHINGTON, Feb. 28 ??“ Former Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko, the leader of the largest opposition group in Parliament, arrived in Washington Wednesday for talks with senior U.S. officials over energy security and the political crisis in Ukraine.

Tymoshenko is expected to meet U.S. Vice President Dick Cheney and Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice on Thursday.
