Ukrainian housing prices begin to recover after slump caused by war
Journal Staff Report

KYIV, July 1 – Prices in housing under construction in June are higher than in February, despite a decrease in interest in investments by 50-80%, Denys Sudilkovsky, marketing director of the LUN new buildings portal, has told Interfax-Ukraine.

In June, the average price per square meter of new housing is higher than in February, despite the falling demand. According to the dynamics of the resumption of visits to the LUN website, interest in real estate investments in the western regions reaches an average of 60% and higher compared to the pre-war level. The regions close to hostilities are just starting to recover, and their attendance is 20-30% of the February figures," Sudilkovsky said.
