KYIV, Sept 6 – Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Denys Monastyrsky named the priority projects of the Interior Ministry, namely: construction of the state border, "community police officer," custody records, creation of a European firefighting hub and voluntary fire brigades, "safe school" and digitalization.
Monastyrsky told Interfax-Ukraine that he was reviewing and prioritizing the initiatives that are being implemented in the ministry.
"The Ministry of Internal Affairs is unique in that all good initiatives have already been started here, or someone has already started, but were forgotten. Much was started by [Arsen] Avakov. Analyzing projects, I also proceed from districts, cities and villages," the minister said.
