KYIV, June 14 – Head of the State Agency for Tourism Development of Ukraine Maryana Oleskiv says that traveling around Ukraine is very affordable, if not talking about the summer season at sea resorts.

"In fact, traveling around Ukraine is not so expensive, if we are not talking about the high summer season at sea resorts. It is a myth that it is expensive in our country. Surely, if we say that it is expensive to travel in our country, because in Turkey you can live in hotel for so much, and in Odesa for so much, then yes. But no one says how much it costs to travel to Chernihiv or Cherkasy regions, visiting a number of cool sites compared to traveling, for example, to Cappadocia. Nobody compares this, and our views are really no worse," Oleskiv told Interfax-Ukraine.
