LONDON, Oct. 6 - The European Commission said on Friday it was confident there would be no problems with gas imports from Russia and Ukraine during the winter.
During a meeting of the Gas Coordination Group, which for the first time included a representative from Russian state-owned company Gazprom, participants agreed that major supply problems could be avoided in the absence of an extremely cold winter.
