KIEV, Sept. 30 - The Finance Ministry has received six bids from 10 banks for a tender to select a lead manager for the country's new foreign bond issue, which is to be placed by year-end, as written into the 2006 budget.

The ministry said Thursday that the tender proposals had been opened the day before.
