KYIV, Feb 15 - According to the forecasts of Naftogaz Ukrayiny, the country should exit the 2020-2021 heating season with natural gas reserves in underground storage facilities (UGS) of around 17 billion cubic meters, thus exceeding the figure for the 2019-2020 season.
"I think that we shall leave the heating season with reserves of around 17 bcm," Naftogaz CEO Andriy Kobolev told Interfax-Ukraine.
According to JSC Ukrtransgaz's recent data, as of February 14, 2021, there were 19.61 bcm of gas in Ukraine's UGS facilities, and the daily withdrawal for the last day totaled 132.4 million cubic meters.
